Site Manager

                                                Site Manager – Main Contractor - Wexford

Our Client is acontractor with a number of residential and healthcare projects under construction and in planning.
They require a site manager with a trade or construction management for a nursing home and residential development in on the Wicklow/Wexford border. You will report to a a Project Manager
The successful candidate will have preferably have full project cycle experience and some residential exposure would be a plus
The package on offer will be in line with the quality of the candidate and very much in line with current market trends.

Responsibilities
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise
• Keeping the project team informed on all relevant issues that arise on the project.
• Ensuring that subcontractors on site execute works as per their method statement.
• Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications
• Assisting with the selection and requisition of materials and plant
• Managing, monitoring and interpreting design documents
• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
• Planning the work and efficiently organising the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
• Overseeing quality control, health and safety matters on site
• Preparing reports as required
• Initiating the procurement process & reporting changes to the project.
• Comply with Health & Safety obligations,
• Ensure all operatives operating on site have been fully inducted and complete their works within the site rules.
