Office Location: Kildare

Our client is a leading international Main Contractor with offices in several European countries and North America.

Involved in heavy industrial, manufacturing and Data Centre sectors they are currently investing in a specialist preconstruction department, independently run with a responsibility for all Data Centre projects in Mainland Europe.

You will report to a Pre-Construction Director and work alongside preconstruction managers, planners, and Civil/Mech/Elec engineers and design engineers prioritising the standardization of DC design/preconstruction activities up to early-stage project delivery.

Responsibilities:

Review & understand the project scope and ER's.
Plan & create a BIM execution and digital strategy for the project based upon client requirements.
Review and manage the project design model co-ordinating all design and construction sequence changes.
Lead BIM/design workshops ensure the model is progressed accurately and working towards clash free.
Ensure design model progression is aligned to overall construction schedule and does not impact activities.
Ensure relevant sub-contractors are procured in line with BIM/DE expectations.
Manage as-built information received from subcontractors and incorporate into master model.

Requirements:
3rd level qualification or equivalent in BIM/DE perspective.
Previous large scale project experience
Ability to be self-motivated and innovative.
Strong leadership and communication skills
Exposure to construction environment and preconstruction requirements essential.
Technical knowledge for datacentres an advantage.
