Contracts Manager/Quantity Surveyor Residential Project

We have a requirement for a Contracts Manager/Quantity Surveyor to join an established Dublin and London based Developer.

Our client is looking for a commercial individual with on site build experience managing projects from inception to completion.

Reporting directly to the Owner/Director, you will be responsible for the successful procurement of subcontractors and trades for projects from start to finish. Management of on-site General Foreman and Engineer and labour

The role will be site based in the Harold cross region of Dublin and consist of the refurbishment 32 apartments over an 18 month programme to the value of 8 million euro.

Role Description:
Dealing with Local authorities
Project procurement including issuing tender packages.
Preparing project programme
Preparation of tender reports and appointments in line with construction program
Measurement of sub-contractors work on site.
Monitoring of project costs and agreeing variations and final accounts
Preparing monthly reports
Managing works on site through GF
Conducting site meetings.

Skills & Qualifications:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
5 to 10 years' experience working as a Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Manager on build projects
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, a distinct advantage.
